Pupils from Foundation Stage to Y6 can take part in developing thinking skills so that they can access the higher cognitive demands of the curriculum.

One of the most powerful aspects of Let's Think is pupils regard themselves as thinkers who have some control over their learning.

The process of accelerating pupils' cognitive and emotional development begins by focussing on science/maths based activities matched to the pupils' maturation. The main teaching features are active learning through cooperative group work with the explicit development of group thinking skills such as good listening, asking, answering, taking turns and offering explanations. This is followed by active retrieval through a review of learning processes and outcomes.

Smaller schools find great benefit in joint training with other schools.
